“Full Breakfast Please”

"With the golf club catering not on duty until 10am, 8 strong and hungry Yorkshire blokes were in search of pre-golf breakfast at 9 am on Saturday morning.Where better to go than the Caffi Poerthdinllaen for a two of each full English breakfast, perfectly cooked and presented by three beautiful ladies. Highly recommended, thanks for having us!" Robin S

“What a find!”

"Luckily I had seen the board outside saying they did evening meals on Friday and Saturday (by booking ahead) and so to cut a long story short, we (family of 4) had a really very good meal on Saturday evening. Yes we ended up eating quite late, and yes we had to wait a wee while for the food to be cooked, but it was certainly worth it and very much in the mediterranean style of a little restaurant where the owner just sees what they can get fresh that day, and cooks a very limited menu but really well.

I had perfectly cooked scallops with pea puree and bacon followed by again perfectly cooked sea bass with roast med. veg and sautee new potatoes plus delicious red pepper coulis, and others had lovely succulent chicken breast with bacon, mushroom and tarragon, plus one serving of moules mariniere.

You take your own alcohol and they provide a glass! Meal for 4 with drinks (non-alcohol) one or two desserts and coffee, £48. Pretty good we think.

- Then we had brunch on Sunday! Great bacon and egg toasted ciabatta."

“Best coffee for miles”

"We regularly stop here for coffee and a snack after walking the dog on local beaches. The welcome is friendly, the food is homemade, fresh and well-priced, while the coffee is the best in the area, in my opinion."
